Jeffrey Owen Anderson joined the Andersons immediately
following his admittance to the Texas Bar in 1994. He has
devoted his legal career to the aggressive nature of family
law litigation and the betterment of the field of family law
as a whole, including chairing the American Academy of Matrimonial
Lawyers Special Concerns of Children committee for the
second year now (a special committee focused solely on protecting
children and improving their lives within and without litigation).
Jeff Is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board
of Legal Specialization, is a Fellow of the American Academy
of Matrimonial Lawyers, a member of the Texas Academy of
Family Law Specialists, and holds a seat on the Texas Family
Law Council. He has been an active member of the Dallas,
Denton and Collin County Bar Associations and in 1999 he
served on the first governing body of the newly formed Family
Section of the Collin County Bar Association.
In 2002 Jeff co-founded the first (and only) collaborative
law group in Collin County, the Collaborative Law Alliance
of Collin County.
He has been twice selected by his peers as one of the best
lawyers in Dallas under 40 as published in D Magazine and
was recognized by D Magazine as one of the best family law
attorneys in Dallas in their August, 2005 issue. Texas Monthly
also recognized him as a Texas Superlawyer in 2003, 2004,
and 2005.
